Never a dull moment

We had severe weather here in Eastern North Carolina tonight. Canceled small group about an hour before it was supposed to start...glad we did. Sometime between 7 & 7:30 we were all sitting in the living room, Johnny was in the laundry room and we heard a low roar that got a little louder and louder...kids took off to the closet, I of course got Johnny and by the time i had done all that the roar was gone. I thought I had just made a mistake until my father called a few minutes later, asked if we were OK and said one of the trailers across the street had collapsed and they were sending rescue. My parents doors had actually bulged and they had gone to the middle of their house in the bathroom too, and apparently whatever it was (still not a confirmed tornado) had gone through the trailer park, in front of our houses and into the woods right beside my parents home. WOW! There were sirens going like crazy...we saw 3 ambulances pulling out of the trailer park across the street with sirens on. I hope everyone is OK.

At least now I know what it sounds like...I won't hesitate next time!
